Over one hundred thousand people have a problem with getting water because of the drought. India, Egypt, Turkey, Mexico, Austraila and lots of Eastern-Asian countries are one of them.

The graph shows the monthly percentage of global land area, excluding ice sheets and deserts, experiencing moderate (beige), severe (tan), and extreme (brown) drought conditions since 1950. Global-scale drought conditions temporarily improved in early 2017 compared to recent years. Global drought area reached its highest level in several years starting in late 2015 and remained high throughout 2016, but rapidly declined by early 2017.

Adjusted from the State of the Climate in 2017, this guide demonstrates worldwide dry season designs in 2017 utilizing an investigation called oneself aligned Palmer Drought Severity Index. The list utilizes local temperature and precipitation information to evaluate dryness. In this guide, dry conditions show up in shades of dark colored, and wet conditions show up in shades of blue-green. The darker the shading, the more prominent the force of wet or dry conditions, with close typical conditions almost white.
